In this friendly yet professional weekend seminar, Gabriel Mojay outlines the energetic and psychospiritual actions of 30 major essential oils according to the TCM/Oriental Five Elements and their corresponding vital organs and 'spirits.'

Updating and expanding on his book, Aromatherapy for Healing the Spirit, Gabriel explains the therapeutically dynamic significance of the various essential oil fragrance notes—and how fragrance energies such as the resinous and floral contribute to and reflect the active benefits of the essential oils they typify.

This study deepens participants' understandings of:
  • The TCM/Oriental energetic therapeutics of essential oils, including their effects of the Qi, Yin & Yang, and Five Elements-Spirits-Organs, supported by selective research-based parallels in their fragrance, chemistry, and biochemical pharmacology.
  • Essential oil fragrance energetics, including the psychological and subtle properties.
  • Effective essential oil interventions for those suffering with chronic nervous tension, anxiety, and depression, as well as a broader range of mental-emotional states such as poor concentration, 'overthinking' and worry, lack of motivation, irritability and resentment, and low self-confidence.
  • Aromatic plant symbolism and selected readings of Gabriel's 'scented sonnets'—poems filled with the symbols and stories of important aromatic plants such as rosemary and sandalwood within diverse cultures over time.
