A candle for every room

I want my home to feel like love and comfort. Natural scent is one of the ways I make it mine. A candle in the living room, a good bar of soap by the sink, a mist over the pillows—each brings something different to the space.

Our four candles each have their own character. These natural scents pair great in any room with each having their own energetic personality. Here is what I love about each one.

Haven

For the living room, the den and the kitchen or any room. Haven is made for fall but is a house favorite any season. Oils of fir balsam, cedarwood, sweet orange and cinnamon: a cozy cabin escape. I light her when I want comfort and peace around me. Her jar is a gorgeous sage green that brings a little countryside indoors.

Grace

For the bathroom and the bedroom. Grace is soft, subtle and pretty, and quietly powerful. Oils of geranium, lemongrass, lavender and vanilla are extremely relaxing. I light her when I want a room to feel like a calm loving space. Her jar is a soft pink recycled glass, and she is the one I give as a gift from the heart.

Twila

For any room. Twila is named for twilight, the soft light between day and night. Peppermint, eucalyptus and vanilla: fresh, bright and energetic, a breath of fresh air. She brings that bright energy to a study, or to anywhere I want a spa feeling. Her jar is a stone blue, the color at the edge of any twilight.

Sable

For any room in the house. Sable is rich, dark and luxurious earthy oils of patchouli, lemon, vanilla and tobacco. I light her when I want to feel grounded, rooted in the earth and enveloped in the feel of plush splendor. Her sand-colored jar is a comfort color that suits every space.

How we make them

We pride ourselves in these natural creations. Each candle is natural apricot and coconut wax with a cotton wick, scented with 100% pure and genuine essential oils, never synthetic fragrance. The jars are recycled glass. Every candle comes in a sturdy cardboard tube that's worth keeping for all kinds of creative projects. When the candle is finished, the jar makes a beautiful tumbler for drinks or a vessel for storage. Or bring the empty jar back to the studio to recycle, and take 10% off your refill candle.

Soaps to keep on hand

It's always good to have quality soaps on hand. A few of our seasonal favorites:

• Lavender Flower Soap: Clean, classic and fresh.
• Patchouli Rose Soap: earthy and floral. Beautiful mold, great for perking up any powder room or bath space.

Come smell all four

All four candles are on the shelf at the studio, 4800 Roland Avenue, Suite 201, in Baltimore, Wednesday to Saturday, 11 to 5. Smell them side by side and find the one for your room. If you love the candle scents have us pair it with a matching scent in another modality. Customer favorites include candle and body wash and lotion.
